I can appreciate the flip-flopping of the original story in this supposedly post-feminist era we live in. However I think that some of the original- and still highly valid- message has been lost in doing so.
We would like to think that the "new men" in our lives today wouldn't REALLY trade us in for a programmed sex-hungry, super-domestic robot. Seriously, have you not seen the websites dedicated to that precise fantasy? Wake up, sisters.
