Awkward kids growing up awkwardly. It's pretty hard to find a likeable character in this film, but I guess that's Baumbach's point. No one here really has any idea how to act in this scenario.
A fine slice of life film. The influences of Baumbach's partner-in-crime Wes Anderson are palpable... if you like Anderson, you'll like this movie.
