Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Nickthecritick — 02 Nov 2021
The movie talks about a divorce seen from the children of the divorcing couple so what we see is filtered through the eyes of a teenager and a child. The movie is beautifully shots, full of heart breaking scenes and raw dialogued in full Baumbach's style.
This to me remains the best movie that Noah Baumbach has ever made so far and one of the best movies of the last 20 years.
