Review of The Squid and the Whale (2005) by Liam R — 18 Jan 2010
This film is genius. Not quite Wes Anderson genius, but you can tell he had his genius little paws all over this and I wasn't surprised during the credits when I found out he was the producer. They did a great job of recreating the time period, and although I was only one year of age in 1988, it made me a bit nostalgic.
And I FINALLY found out what the song is in the skateboarding video Baker 3 (Lou Reed - Street Hassle). Anna Paquin is hot.
