Review of The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) by Brian S — 20 Dec 2010

While this film did introduce the world to memorable Bond classics like the silent henchman Jaws, a high-speed chase on skis, and a submarine car, I really didn't find the story all that engaging. a lot of elements felt pretty flat--the acting was rather bland, the fight sequences were lackluster, the humour came across as stale and overused, and the villain seemed more distant and bored than maniacal and sociopathic.

Overall nothing incredibly memorable...just kind of blends in to the canon without much of a splash.
