Review of The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) by Simon T — 20 Oct 2017
A superb film that returned the series to previous heights, The Spy Who Loved Me cemented Roger Moore as Connery's equal, and returned production designing duties to the genius Ken Adam, who built the largest set then built for any film, ever.
With one of the greatest henchmen of all time in Jaws, a gorgeous Barbara Bach as Bond's Russian equal, and impressive action and comedy, The Spy Who Loved Me is moderately let down by a rather dull villain.
