Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) by Simon T — 06 Aug 2018

The definite plusses - very good performances from a proven cast and a nicely-judged self-referential humour slyly debunking the Marvel mythology. Unfortunately they're tied to an over-complicated plot that makes almost no sense, and a growing suspicion that the writers didn't know what to do after the halfway mark.

Thank God though that it isn't as smug and self-congratulatory as Deadpool.
