Review of The Source (2011) by Boisramé M — 13 Jul 2012
Somewhere in a North African village. The women fetch water, like they've done for thousands of years. The men do absolutely nothing, except for accepting money from the tourists who come to see the women dance. But something happens. A love strike.
You may have prejudices about this part of the world and they can be cured here. Feelings are the same, desire and longing for love are also the same, but the culture different. You will also find a profound religiosity and you get very engaged in the destiny of these women.
Touching, charming, well acted and a happy end. Goodness can exist. At least in the movies.
