Review of The Sound of Music (1965) by Lee C — 08 Jan 2013
A strange movie, set in a specific time, different to our current lives, yet utterly timeless, Julie Andrews proves to the world that Mary Poppins was no fluke as she sings and smiles her way to cinematic immortality.
If you don't end up singing along, and have a smile on your face by the end of this movie then there is only one thing to do, never watch another movie.....ever!! This captures the heart like no other movie, and will be a firm favorite for decades to come.
