I agree with the great Pauline Kael on this one...The Sound of Mucus! I just wanna push that irritating, perky bitch, Maria (and the rest of the Von Trapp brood), off the highest point of the mountain.
Director, Robert Wise, has made several wonderful films...this is NOT one of them! And lets face facts there is NOTHING warm about Julie Andrews!
