"Smurfs 2" 10 Scale Rating: 2.0 (Terrible) ...
The Good: Azreal (the cat) had a couple of decent moments. A few of the Smurfs were spot on with their cartoon counterparts.
The Bad: Well, not that much was expected, but the plot was paper thin ... even for a film geared towards five year olds. The Smurfs themselves were way too computerized and clashed with the settings. One liners and corny jokes were thrown about without landing a single comedic bullseye. Pop culture is rammed down your throat repeatedly as Hollywood defiles another of our childhood memories.
