A disturbing film to say the least, Almodovar's The Skin I Live In has everything that movies these days just always seem to lack; a convincing relationship between the "lovers", atmosphere and mood over generic scares, terrific camera work, a twist that you thought you saw coming but wouldn't believe it once it revealed, and superb acting especially from Antonio Banderas which in my opinion is the best of his career.
