Pedro Almodovar builds a firm and concrete suspense story, that while it is a drama about human and existential conflicts involving past and present, in a story that only Almodovar can tell. Antonio Banderas is the shield and at the same time, extreme Robert Ledgard, surgeon who is able to do anything to get what she wants, even rebuild the wife in someone else's body.
Touching, thrilling, dark and provocative, the new Almodovar's film is sensational!
