Anthony Hopkins turned in a brilliant, creepy performance, more than earning the Academy Award. Hannibal Lecter is one of my favorite film characters, precisely because he was brought to life on screen so wonderfully.
Jodie Foster also turned in a fantastic performance as Clarice. Really immersed herself in the role.
