Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Sleez B — 15 Feb 2013
Silence of the Lamb is a pretty decent film that stars Jodie Foster as a girl trying to make it into the FBI in an ugly world. She differs from the predominant male peers and is usually picked on by her superiors.
Well, not anymore after she receives an assignment to catch a killer by the name of Buffalo Bill, but she will have to extract information from Dr. Hannibal Lecter to track him down. Hannibal is played by Anthony Hopkins who won an Oscar for playing a cannibalistic serial killer.
Performance is fine and dandy and the story is very intriguing as we see Clarice and Hannibal react. The story then takes a few twists and turns as we try to understand these two people and figure out where Buffalo Bill is.
The highlight and most bizarre scene is definitely Buffalo Bills dance number.
