Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by George B — 15 Jun 2010
A very charming original version of "You've Got Mail." Without any delightful touch of the use of music as in the latter one, it still makes you focus on the film every single second. Remarkable performances by Sullavan and Stewart.
Though the ending came a bit sooner than I hoped, it's still a very thoughtful one.
