Review of The Shining (1980) by Paul B — 05 Aug 2013
Sinister, thought-provoking, disturbing, cold, but not scary. Extremely well crafted and acted, and numbing in it's destruction of reality, though not as terrifying as I would have hoped. Nonetheless, the last half hour contains some of the most intense and brilliant turns in movie history.
