The glow is probably Stanley Kubricks best film for a mass viewer. This is Jack Nicholsons best acting. One of Kings best adaptations (starting he himself does not agree with this). But this is definitely not one of the best horror as many believe.
The glow is not horror, but a very good thriller. A vivid example of confirming the fact that not every good film adaptation should follow the original.
