Review of The Shining (1980) by Matt L — 11 Sep 2014
Brooding, frightening and draped in dread from the first minute, this film gets under your skin and never lets up. It is, like the majority of Kubrick's films, flawlessly crafted in terms of cinematography, framing, editing and music.
It also features intense performances that help to evoke emotional resonance within the viewer.
