It's been referenced, It's been spoofed, It's be regurgitated into lesser versions. This is the most visually ambitious horror movie of all time. It's strikingly terrifying. It begs for you not to look away.
It takes a genius like Kubrick to take another genius's novel and make it something entirely his own.
