The Shining is one of the most recognizable, timeless, and iconic horror masterpieces that has ever been filmed. It absolutely deserves its place in history. This is just a really scary, really enjoyable movie.
Its really well made, and the atmosphere and tension driven by the psychological horror is just pure Kubrik. This is a Halloween must-watch.
