Review of The Sheik (1921) by Ix M — 20 Sep 2007
Actually, the more I think about it, the trashier and sillier it gets. But, the film-making is so skillful that you can completely overlook the lack of sound and color (tinting of the picture helps), and the overall racist undercurrents.
A very entertaining film that feels extremely modern in its own right. Just ignore the insanely dopey story.
