Review of The Sheik (1921) by Sally B — 26 Jul 2009
The film that shot Rudolph Valentino to stardom, which is both easy and difficult to understand. Not a great film by any means, and why Valentino turned up with bug-eyes and wide-open mouth for the first part of the film is beyond me.
Thankfully he acted far more normally for the second part. A great looking Rudy in an OK film. A must see for Valentino fans and film buffs.
