Review of The Sheik (1921) by Alex S — 08 Apr 2010
Starring the legendary Rudolph Valentino, this movie is a true classic of the silent films. Women went crazy for this actor, but after seeing this film, I'm really at a loss for why this was. As the Sheik, Valentino spends a good deal of the film doling out maniacal looks that are anything but romantic.
Even so, I enjoyed this story more than Son of the Sheik.
