Best thing about the movie is each and every character is given importance whether it is protagonist or the supporting actors.
The movie focuses on the issues and the treatment faced by the criminals in the jail.
And how difficult it is for someone who has lived in the jail for a long time to cope up with the outside world , aptly described James Whitmore's character. Morgan freeman's narration is the anchor of the movie.
You keep on thinking about the movie even after watching it.
