A simple masterpiece, performed flawlessly to the extent that any audience member with out an open mouthed expression afterwards should seriously consider whether they will like any film. A timeless, mesmerizing classic that can never get old, even after 20 years.
Robbins and Freeman truly show their quality, in a film that appears to be heading in little direction until it completely changes, to the point where you feel compelled to keep your eyes gazed towards the screen.
Possibly incomparable, the only film ever coming close may be the godfather.
