Review of The Shawshank Redemption (1994) by Jangwon S — 01 Nov 2015
The performances by the actors were good. The plot was great. All the elements composing the movie were nicely woven overall. I can't think of anything to pick on about "Shawshank Redemption," because it was simply, without a word, a great film.
But... I wanted more. For some reason I do not know, when I saw the ending, the impact was not as intense as the other movies that I loved. For that reason, I cannot give this movie an outstanding score as other people did; that would be lying to myself.
