I give it one star because the cinematography is really good, everything else is just garbage. You have silly CGI shark, silly CGI dead whale, silly CGI dolphins, silly CGI jelly fish, silly CGI flares, and worst of all too many slow motion scenes.

There's so much ridiculous CGI in this movie that it takes away from any tension, or scares the movie may provide. At least Open Waters, and The Reef used real sharks and didn't go for the big budget CGI crapfest that is this movie.

I'd rather watch Deep Blue Sea, or Jaws again.
