"the seven year itch" is a comedy that doesn't really have much of a story, other than being inside a married man's head for the first few days his wife and kid are on their summer vacation away from him.
but what makes this billy wilder film so incredibly funny and special, is how ridiculous tom ewell's character's imagination goes. he comes to the most unlikely conclusions that would never happen in a million years, and let's his paranoia get the best of him.
