Review of The Seven-Ups (1973) by Doris C — 16 Nov 2006
This is a fairly bog standard 70s police thriller which despite a fantastic 10 minute car chase lacks any real punch. The plot revolves around a rogue police unit but they aren't given anything of real substance to do throughout the film's running time.
Lacking the grit of The French Connection and the depth of Serpico, this is an average film but worth a look if you are a fan of the period/genre.
