This is a really great horror film. Whilst I disagree enormously with the manner in which Haitian Vodou is portrayed here, I have to conceed that Craven has carved out a horror masterpiece in 'The Serpent and the Rainbow.
' The plot holds nicely and the direction is great. One of the most underrated horror films of its generation.
