Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Matthew L — 27 Sep 2011
More of a thriller than an out and out horror from Craven, though thats not to say that it doesn't have a few unsettling moments. Suitably atmospheric particularly once Pullman has made it to Haiti and begins his research into voodoo and 'zombification'.
Probably for Craven completist and horror buffs only but thats not to say its not without its merits and is worth a look.
