Review of The Sentinel (1977) by Ashley R — 04 Aug 2013
Very impressive cast in this supernatural thriller much in the same vein as Rosemary's Baby or The Exorcist. Something supernatural is happening in the apartment building that Alison rents. She is hearing things, seeing people that don't exist, and then there is the very strange blind priest that lives upstairs.
There is lots to like about The Sentinel. The cast is amazing, and the acting is quite good, in fact quite chilling at times. The story itself is good, and quite enjoyable.
If you are a fan of supernatural thrillers that rely on a good slow-build story, then The Sentinel is for you.
