Review of The Sentinel (1977) by Chessica M — 28 Jan 2010

This is a truly great film and with an outstanding cast. Filmed in the 70's with a who's who of top performers and a few new up and coming stars. Yes, there are parts that can be cheesy...it was the 70's and at times the acting from the lead actress is not the best.

But, it has a great plot and ending. There was a ton of contorversy when the movie came out due to the director using real human oddities in the end. The scene with Beverly D'Angelo is a little embarassing (I was watching this with my mom and if you've seen it then you know).

I think that if it was made today with all the special effects, it would totally rock!
