Review of The Sentinel (1977) by Corey B — 24 May 2011
Really dumb horror film in the Rosemary's Baby vibe has tons of "What the Hell" moments to make it all worthwhile. From its insanely diverse cast to its gruesome set pieces there's lots to enjoy on a "so bad its good level".
Bevery De'Angelo must try to bury this one on her resume, and the finale is one of a kind.
As for the actual story. It's not so bad really, it's just not told very well. There's some good moments here and there, but in the end it is needlessly complex.
