Despite not offering one original insight into this popular British sob genre it has some wonderful moments. But if you've seen movies by Ken Loach or Mike Leigh or Andrea Arnold's FISH TANK or, going back a bit, KES, than you've seen most of what this movie has to offer.
The young actor who plays Arbor Fenton (Conner Chapman) is very, very good, but not so much his movie pal, Shaun Thomas, who plays Swifty. Also, I'll give it this, the ending is a beautiful moment of generosity.
