Review of The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising (2007) by Michael M — 27 Dec 2008

Good to see this -- I read the series as a kid and have forgotten it since then until now. it makes me realize that I was exposed to this genre even back then, thus paving the way for more during later years.

It still holds as a good coming of age type of film; camera work was done well; a couple lines were not clear though; there was a slight touch of American-ness that was a bit annoying especially in the main actor.

I also like some of the sayings in the film.
