Ugh, why did they do this to these wonderful books? Why are they American? Will I make it past 15 minutes in? Where did this ridiculous story about the kidnapped brother come from? Why are Christopher Eccleston, Ian McShane, etc.
in this tripe? (though McShane totally dissed the books so he's on my shit list too, along with Mr. Trainspotting/Shallow Grave/A Life Less Ordinary writer).
