Review of The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising (2007) by Grant H — 28 Mar 2017
Bad movie. Though its source material was written well before the Harry Potter franchise, the writers still decided to deviate far from the source and make a film practically equivalent to the mammoth fantasy franchise, resulting in a dull, unoriginal picture that hits many of the same notes, and features so many uses of the Dutch angle it's exhausting, also featuring a solid cast that fail to properly entertain.
