The story takes a darker tone then most kids movies are willing to go. The animal testing is something you would not expect in a kids movie. The characters are great, they're fun and each has a personality that works in each moment in the story.
The animation is your typical Don Bluth stuff, amazing. It's a very enjoyable piece and should work on the entire family, not just the kiddies.
