Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Adrian W — 13 Jun 2015
A mouse named Mrs. Brisby will do all she can to keep her ill son Timothy from perishing. Her son is sick and unable to move with the rest of the family from the dangerous plow owned by the farmer whose property they reside on.
On her journey she encountered a mysterious own, a society of intelligent rats, and a friendly crow. Secret of NIMH features some interesting characters and a dark tinge to it that sets apart from the Disney universe.
Although at times there are too many characters and the film seems a bit over complicated, Secret of NIMH is a solid animation piece.
