Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Jenn V — 01 Mar 2011
Beautiful, powerful, yet criminally underrated, The Secret of NIMH is not only Don Bluth's best work, but it's also one of the best non-Disney/non-Pixar animated films I've ever seen. The animation is breath-taking, the characters are lovable, and the story is very touching.
It's a bit darker than your average "kid's" movie, but I'm sure this timeless masterpiece will please audiences of all ages.
