A very beautifully hand drawn 2-D movie in this day of computer animated and 3-D movies. The Secret of Kells tells a story behind the making of the Book of Kells during the Dark Ages of Viking raids in Ireland and includes elements of Irish legend and/or mythology.
Was most impressed by the artwork throughout the movie. Well worth a watch for any fans of animation and/or those who need a break from the plethora of CGI-animated movies today, and/or the typical Disney movie formula.
