Review of The Searchers (1956) by Brogan R — 03 Mar 2009
An epic tale of courage and dedication that John Ford translates into a visual masterpiece and John Wayne uses to break your hearts. The role that would set the stage for gritty perfomances in the future, The Duke is a phenom.
As the final credits role, and overtly corny country music plays, I was still left with a realisation of emotional depth.
