Review of The Searchers (1956) by Kevin S — 21 Feb 2013

This is another classic western staring the duke. He plays a civil war veteran who comes to visit his brother and his niece gets kidnapped by Indians. He goes on a long five day trip to find them and rescue the girl and to get revenge.

This movie was both fun and very exciting with a few scenes of comedy. John Wayne is fantastic. He fits in so good with roles like this. It's a great cowboys and Indians movie with lots if great western action.

And typical greatness of "the duke" John Wayne.
