Review of The Searchers (1956) by Guillaume H — 20 May 2013
"The Searchers" although at times acted poorly by the supporting actors and a bit overlong, is beautifully shot and acted well by the main characters. One of the biggest compliments I could give this film is that it is very good to this day, showing it stood the test of time.
A very good western, but is not a masterpiece like Sergio Leone's "The Good, the bad, and the Ugly.".
