A campy, fun and wholesome take on classic fairy tale tropes. The cast is really fabulous. The combination of veteran greats (hello Charlize, Kerry, Lawrence & Cate) and younger new comers was fresh.
The entire movie is quite stylized and there are some great music/fashion/vampy montage moments. The special effects were B+ but it kinda only adds to the playful, campy vibes. Like any good fairy tale, there are moral messages baked in and if you love fairy tales like I do, you'll appreciate this modern spin.
