For hopeless romantics only! If you didn't like the book because you thought it was depressing, you might like this movie. It shouldn't even be called an adaptation. About the only things this movie has in common with the book are the characters names and the fact that they make her wear a scarlet letter.
Everything else is different. I repeat, only for hopeless romantics.
