Review of The Sacrifice (1986) by Quecuatzl K — 21 Jun 2007
Famous for being the reference of REM's "Losing my Religion" video. Like most Tarkovsky, the first 30 minutes are slow and abstract, but once it gets going you won't be able to forget the imagery for days afterwards.
Best post-apocalyptic movie ever. AMAZING cinemetography by Sven Nykvist.
