Review of The Russia House (1990) by Brana F — 12 Jun 2007
A great, intelligent movie that doesn't feel the need to explain itself to the duller members of the audience. If you are the one always asking your friends 'who's that?' 'why did he do that?' then DON"T see this movie, at least not with me.
I've never liked Sean Connery in a movie more, and suspect this is a role very close to his real character. Normally, not a fan of Pfeiffer either, but she does a great job. The soundtrack is one of my favorites, and who doesn't like to see Klaus Maria Brandauer in a movie?
